ETHIOPIA'S ALMAZ AYANA SETS WORLD RECORD IN WINNING WOMEN'S 10,000 METERS


The Rio Olympic track and field competition began with a world record, as Almaz Ayana (age 24) of Ethiopia shattered the world record in the women’s 10,000-meter race at Olympic Stadium with a time of 29 minutes, 17.45 seconds.

Ayana is asked about doping allegations after setting world record in 10,000 meters, responds: "My doping is Jesus."
