It’s a Wrap as Nigeria’s Got Talent Semi-Final Rounds End

It was an amazing weekend as the continent’s biggest talent hunt show, Nigeria’s Got Talent, concluded its semi-final rounds with nine explosive acts. The first act for the night was Kareem David, a group of acrobats. Their acrobatics display was able to wow the audience and judges as it was described as an excellent performance. The Crazy Twins, a dance duo from Ibadan whose dance routine was heavily theatrical and which left the judges and audience well entertained. Next was Abel Tolulope, a saxophonist. His act didn’t go well with the judges as he got three Xs. Xplanashun dance group continued the show with their dance performance which earned them applauses from the audience and judges. Next was Princess J. Eze, a rapper from Benin.

Her lyrics and rhythm pleased both the judges and audience, as the judges commended her for her flow. Boniface Ukeme, a dancer was also able to keep the show going with his dance performance. “You dance like a professional. That was fantastic, flawless and of international standard,” said Dan Foster. Next was Taiwo Theophilus, a footballer. His act of ball juggling left the audience and judges in awe of his ability to balance the ball. Jesse and Ogeh, ballet dancers were also able to impress the judges and audience with their performance of Brymo’s song, ‘Ara.’ “Your dance was smooth, professional and very expressive,” said Kate Henshaw. The show was wrapped up with a dance performance from Kelly’s Family. Their dance routine didn’t impress the judges and the audience, as it lacked flow, co-ordination and energy. From dance, to drama, to football, Nigeria’s Got Talent has shown each weekend that there is always something to look forward to.
