Project back to School - an Olamild Ent initiative

A renowned personal development legend by the name Jim Rohn once said that if someone is going down the wrong road, he doesn’t need motivation to speed him up. What he needs is education to turn him around. This month, we celebrate our motherland Nigeria at 50.

What better way to celebrate than to give hope to the children – who happen to be the future of Nigeria. Although Nigerians aged below 35 constitute more than 70 percent of the nation’s population, the percentage of Nigerians that get a sound education is demeaning. To worsen matters, our educational system delivered a 79.4% failure rate in the NECO examinations.

There is need for an improved higher education system and it must start with us paying attention to our preschool, elementary and secondary school. These areas are the building blocks of society's educational foundation and lack of a good education would contribute to social ills including crime and prostitution.

Education not only opens the mind, it expands it. For this, we as a society must invest in our youths by educating them. Can they be educated without school supplies? Back to School project aims to provide at least 50 students with enough supplies to last them for the next school year - 2011.

Targeted Location/Date: Ajegunle , Makoko & Bere (Dec 15 – 18)

CALLING OUT TO ALL ORGANIZATIONS, MEDIA, COMPANIES, INDIVIDUALS AROUND THE GLOBE TO SUPPORT THE CAUSE BY DONATING SCHOOL SUPPLIES.

Join the 'back to school project' to motivate and show our youths the importance of a good education. For more information, contact back2school@olamildentertainments.com.
